About the Long Beach Flute Institute
The Long Beach Flute Institute (LBFI) was founded in 2003 to provide expert, specialized flute instruction in a positive and non-competitive environment to flutists in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

LBFI provides:
- a unique experience that enhances existing school programs;
- specific flute playing pedagogy;
- ensemble training for students of all levels;
- much needed performance opportunities;
- adult amateurs an environment to improve their playing skills and perform
